Amanda Rohde is a mixed medium artist based in Milwaukee, WI. She received her Bachelors of Science in Sustainability and Environmental Studies at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon in 2015. Her work is heavily influenced by the diverse landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and open waters of the upper Midwest and Great Lakes. The threads between ecology and artistic expression are where she strives to keep exploring.
When not tinkering in her basement art studio you can find her being bossed around by her cattle dog, in her home garden or on a pontoon with her partner in the Wisconsin Northwoods.
Most recent obsessions include:
Acrylic wood block paintings
Mixed media “postcards”
Upcycled cyanotype prints and one of a kind textiles
“Mostly just playing and seeing what sticks. Glad you are here!”
